Welcome….. RDVIC provides a community-based service that promotes the rights of all individuals to have control of their lives without violence.

 

RDVIC is a non-profit agency serving Monongalia, Preston, and Taylor counties in West Virginia. We provide services to men, women, and children who are currently experiencing or who are survivors of domestic violence, child abuse, incest, sexual assault, elder care abuse, care giver abuse, sexual harassment, or stalking.  We provide the following:

24-hour crisis hotline

Temporary emergency shelter

Counseling

Advocacy -
(includes accompanying or meeting victims of sexual assault and/or domestic violence to emergency rooms;  providing advocacy for victims of violence  with law enforcement, the court, or  other social service agencies.)

Support Groups

Community Education:
(educational and training programs for schools and the community to increase awareness and promote prevention of domestic violence, elder care abuse, care giver abuse, child abuse, incest, sexual assault, sexual harassment, and stalking.)

Father’s Day Weekend 5K

Hazel Ruby-McQuain Riverfront Park

Morgantown, WV

 

ENTRY FEE:  $15.00 if received by 6/7/13; $20.00 after 6/07/13

COURSE: The race will begin near the Hazel Ruby-McQuain Riverfront Park and will progress east along the Deckers Creek Trail for approximately 1.5 miles to a turn-around point and then back to the Hazel Ruby-McQuain Riverfront Park to the finish line.
