.Saturday, April 14, 2012 A Night on the Town Have dinner at your favorite local restaurant, then come dance and have dessert with us at the Waterfront Place Hotel, Morgantown, WV from 7:30pm until 11:30pm. “A Night on the Town” ticket holders (tickets $50.00) can have dinner at participating area restaurants prior to the event at a discounted price of 10% on the cost of your meal Saturday night. Alcohol is excluded. Participating restaurants include: Stefano’s, Lira, Sargasso, Yesterday’s, Regatta, Tee-Bonez, The Vintage Room, Madeleine’s and Montmartre Music entertainment by “The Bobby Nicholas Band”

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes®
April is nationally and locally proclaimed as Sexual Assault Awareness Month. In recognition, RDVIC will host our 3rd annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® in order to raise awareness of sexual assault and gender violence. The walk will take place on Sunday,
March, 2012 During the month of March, RDVIC is the proud beneficiary of Happy Hour Yoga at BlissBlissBliss Yoga studio. Happy Hour Yoga takes place from 6-7pm each Friday evening, and the studio is located on Greenbag Road. Namaste!

“A Night on the Town - Mardi Gras” RDVIC’s annual fund-raiser |

Our annual Gala was held on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at the Hotel Morgan in Morgantown, WV from 6:30pm until 11:00 pm and tickets were $45.00.
It had a Mardi Gras-themed dinner and dessert, then dancing with musical entertainment provided by “The Bobby Nicholas Band.”
A live and silent auction was also held, featuring items donated from local businesses.
All proceeds went towards the operating costs of RDVIC.
All tickets purchased by either method will be held and reserved at the door for ticket-holder unless other arrangements are made with the RDVIC office at 304-292-5100. |

Sunday, April 21, 2013 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. Ruby Hazel McQuain Riverfront Park In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness month, RDVIC will host our 4th annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® in order to raise awareness of sexual assault and gender violence.
After the walk, stick around for food, prizes, speakers, and entertainment. All are encouraged to come out and help build a community free from violence.

Father’s Day Weekend 5K WHEN: June 16, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. (race day registration at 8:45 a.m.) WHERE: Hazel Ruby-McQuain Riverfront Park, Morgantown, WV. ENTRY FEE: $15.00 if received by 6/7/13; $20.00 after 6/07/13 REGISTRATION: brochure/registration forms available for download here . COURSE: The race will begin near the Hazel Ruby-McQuain Riverfront Park and will progress east along the Deckers Creek Trail for approximately 1.5 miles to a turn-around point and then back to the Hazel Ruby-McQuain Riverfront Park to the finish line. RACE PURPOSE: This is the 3rd year for the RDVIC Father’s Day Weekend 5K. All proceeds from the race will go towards the operating costs of RDVIC. T-SHIRTS: T-shirts are guaranteed to pre-registrants and will be available on race day while supplies last. AWARDS: 5K Run awards will be presented to the overall top three male and female finishers and to the first three male and female finishers in several age categories Full awards list and further information can be found in the brochure. The RDVIC Father’s Day Weekend 5K is a participant in the 2013 Morgantown Area Grand Prix.
